Blackmailers and National Green Tribunal

A country where common man is striving hard for its Bread Butter, How many are serious for Greenery!! A Country where a Celebrity have to come on road to sensitize people for Environment and A country where “Environment Saving” is nothing but an hour or two hours affair of discussion. Where people need to understand that without this greenery they will not survive, where people need to get sensitized for their own savior. There, in that Country, National Green Tribunal, got enlightened one fine day and called 50 percent of its petitioners a”Blackmailer”.

So, here, is NGT trying to say that before this ultimate enlightenment, they have been listening and sorting cases of Blackmailers. Or is it so that Historic and land marking decisions for Environment in the time of His Excellency Justice Swatantra Kumar did not realise this reality. As per PTI Feed the recent appointed His Excellency Retd Judge of Supreme Court said, “Nowadays, 50 per cent of cases are of blackmailers… Earlier, we used to issue notices… Now we are not issuing notices and disposing of cases,” Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel observed. The observation came while disposing of a plea seeking stay on the construction of the 70-storey Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir in Mathura by ISKCON. The green panel noted that the project had all the requisite approvals and asked the petitioner to approach the authorities for its grievances.

When bulls fight, crop suffer and this is what exactly has happened in NGT in recent days. Many cases are disposed for the sake of disposing and asked to go to Supreme Court. This is too without realising that someone has put his hard earned money and time to fight for environment. So, here the concern arises that if NGT would keep on calling petitioner as blackmailers then this would certainly hammer their morale and How will people would take this subject seriously as Now, hardly 2 percent of people of this country are serious for Environment.
