In this advertisement, PGIMER has mentioned specific rules for not allowing Disable/handicap candidates to participate in the placement process. After taking this as contempt of Supreme Court’s order dated 10/07/2017 issued in Writ Petition (Civil) No.412 of 2016 titled as “Gaurav Kumar Bansal Vs. Union of India and Others”. The lawyer Bansal have sent a notice to PGIMER seeking changes in advertisement on this disparity with Disable/Specially abled candidates.
