They defeat Corona and went back home healthy, Active Toll 12 in Chandigarh
Another story of victory over the invisible enemy comes from PGIMER Chandigarh today.
This Nursing Officer of PGIMER Chandigarh, 31 yr old Male who found positive after being in contact with a Positive person in an emergency, said, ” I was dying with a guilty, what if I transferred this infection in my 11-month-old baby. I cried a lot and got admitted to PGIMER. I have been working in PGI as a Nursing Officer and being patient is altogether a different experience.” After his discharge from hospital and being tested Negative twice for Coronavirus, he said that he is thankful to everyone in PGI authority and colleagues who took really good care of him. He is First Healthcare worker who got discharged from his workplace PGI after being found Negative for Coronavirus.
Two COVID Positive patients who were infected with Corona Virus and being treated at Nehru Hospital Extension Block of PGIMER Chandigarh have been discharged after being declared cured of the disease. These are the first to get discharged after being cured of this facility which has 15 COVID patients today on Tuesday. With this Chandigarh’s active toll is 12.
One of the discharged patients was a 31-year-old Healthcare Worker of PGIMER who was admitted to the hospital on 30th March while the other female discharged was 42 years old and a resident of Chandigarh. She was referred from GMCH-32 to this hospital on being diagnosed as a positive case on 3rd April. Both were sent with a heartwarming gesture from the healthcare professionals of the hospital.

Prof. Jagat Ram conveyed best wishes to them and assured of any medical assistance if needed.
